Organizations can bring their students to the Resource Depot for a field trip. Field Trips begin when students sitting in a circle on carpet squares. They are given a piece of foam, cardboard, and scraps, and are told to "create a work of art" Practically anything a child's imagination can create is made, from buses to houses to people.

Students are then taken to a separate room wherethey play environmental bingo and learn about recycling. The ultimate goal of the field trip is to teach children how to be environmentally sensitive and artistic at the same time.
