Grant Programs

Grants support many of our programs to bring creative reuse to children across Palm Beach County.

REIMAGINE YOUR WORLD

Support generously provided by Prime Time Palm Beach County, which receives support from

Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County

Reimagine Your World, a six- week environmental stewardship offering for aftercare students,

gives opportunities to observe ecological impact, develop ways to reduce their footprint and build

their own mini reuse center at their site through engaging hands-on projects.   The pilot year served

1,088 students at more than 50 aftercare sites.

SIGNAL HOUSE

Grant cycle: 2015-2016

Support generously provided by Cultural Council of Palm Beach County and

April is for Authors, with partnerships with Oxbridge Academy, Timber Trace

Elementary School, and The Conservatory School in North Palm Beach.

Resource Depot presents Signal House, a site specific, interactive art

installation by Brooklyn-based artist Alex Branch.  Composed of all

repurposed materials collected at Resource Depot, this interactive structure

was created in an underutilized outdoor space at the rear of Resource Depot's

building. Beyond being an art piece in & of itself, Signal House is also designed

to become a vehicle to house performances, demonstrations & workshops

this spring. Visitors can interact with the various musical components that

have been created by Alex within the structure and surrounding yard

and are encouraged to contribute their own creations!
